2011 has been my year. I have made quantum shifts in my business, my relationships and my emotional and spiritual health. And here’s why: I had the assistance of strong, phenomenal women.
Michelle Gabriel: I started this year lower than I’ve been in a decade. Zero cash flow, low spirits, self-esteem in the gutter. I was in a bad way. Michelle helped pull me up. She figured out the simplest and quickest way to help me. I mean REALLY help me. In a tangible way. She connected with me, and got me on the path to start connecting with myself. Without Michelle, I would not have met …
Teresa de Grosbois: Michelle didn’t introduce us, but she got me to a place where I was open and receptive to meeting and being in a business relationship with Teresa. I prayed for a miracle & the Universe sent me Teresa. We aligned strategically and my income, my outlook and my prospects started increasing. Teresa is much more than a brilliant, talented, driven and heart-centred entrepreneur, she is a dynamo at bravely living outside her comfort zone. She has BIG vision and is doing what needs to be done to see it through. I am so touched by how kindly & consistently she shows her appreciation for me. She also makes a mean chai latte. Teresa saved me. On so many different levels.
Neelam Gurm: With my financial considerations on the mend, I was able to focus more on my health. Neelam is a Pharmacist, nutritionist and friend with a big heart and a big mission to helps clients create healthy lifestyles. Her Fresh Cleanse was a fresh start for me and led me to one of the most significant and meaningful breakthroughs of my life.
Melanie Jones: Well speaking of fearless trailblazers, this lady right here invented the concept. In her own words, she is BONKERS. She LIVES living on the edge. She is real and true to herself and her creativity. Her blog astounds me. She articulates thoughts I never even knew I had. She understands herself and the world around her; she understands her craft and other people’s reactions to her craft in ways that leave my speechless. Part of the problem with gracing upon such sheer insightful genius is that I frequently have to resist the urge to ‘x’ out of the browser, shut my laptop off and NEVER EVER WRITE AGAIN. Because I’m just not worthy; because I sometimes take naps in the afternoon and don’t get out of bed until 8am. My tombstone should just read: ‘What She Said.”
But when I’m looking for roll-up-your-sleeves inspiration and insight and hope and when I want to go to the very core of my humanness and feel connection on a very fundamental level, Melanie Jones is my gal.
Cathy Yost: And from Melanie, I can trace a direct path to Cathy. Cathy who comes to live with you for three days and doesn’t take any bullshit from anybody. Cathy who nods sympathetically and politely right before she cuts you off at the knees; right before she takes you down. And there you are, on your back staring up at the stars, gasping from shock. She’ll help you up, but not before she asks you if you see things differently. And you can’t ever see things in the same way again. Because Cathy will get you to see that very thing you’ve been avoiding all your life, the very thing that will SAVE your life. And then she’ll watch a movie with you.
I made more progress in 3 days with Cathy than if I’d spent a year fumbling through my emotional avoidance on my own. It was worth every blindside, because Cathy is on your team and she is tackling you out of complacency and into a life of conscious presence. No more sleepwalking, no more lying to self. Life is too short. And in the pursuit of happiness, Cathy is someone you want on your side. She also taught me how to be kind and gentle to myself and be on my own team.
Thank you, Ladies. For a phenomenal year. You are bringing such good to this world. And don’t we all need a little more of that?
Happy Holidays, and here’s to a 2012 where we knock it outta the park!
